Team Memberships - Classes - Coaching


Team Cat 5 - Weightlifting (Competitive)

In house athlete memberships, All programs written by at least a USAW level 2 coach, and/or nationally recognized strength and conditioning coach to fit your goals. Upon contacting us all incoming athletes will have a one-on-one meeting with a coach to discuss goals, go through an injury screening and movement assessment, and discuss training options and schedule.

We offer coaching hours six days a week, while traveling both locally and nationally throughout the year with our competitive lifters. We also provide resources such as athlete performance packets to all new athletes, one-on-one meetings throughout the year to set and assess goals, nutrition, and programming. Remote Athlete Coaching

For those athletes not Local to the Tampa Bay Area, we offer remote coaching options. This is typically for the more intermediate to advanced lifter but we will work on a case to case basis to decide of remote programming & coaching is a viable option.

Remote athletes are provided with either our team program or an individual program depending on their preference. Day to day coaching largely takes place through CoachNow app that allows audio and video feedback overlayed on videos uploaded through the athlete portal. This allows us to have one on one communication and review lifts on an ongoing basis. Beginner Barbell

Our beginner barbell class is a 3 session introduction to Weightlifting, running the first 3 Wednesdays of each month (or a custom schedule TBD with coach). This class is intended to teach the basics of the Snatch, Clean, and Jerk to get started on a training program, or used as a tune up for the Crossfit or everyday athlete who just wants to refine their movements a little. Open Gym Memberships/Drop Ins

We do offer both drop ins and long term open gym memberships. Any and all drops ins should be pre-scheduled by contacting us prior to your training session to schedule a time. For those looking for a long term drop in (open gym) option without coaching, the athlete must have a program and coach elsewhere in order to obtain this membership. A meeting with a Cat 5 staff member is still required prior to beginning an open gym membership. Price for open gym is $110/month, or $10/drop in.
